The performance mode of Enrich speeds up the composting time.
On large scenes with more than five effects, there may be cases where the interface starts to lag when a value is changed in the Enrich panel. This is because the Blender compositing process kicks in and tends to slow down the interface.
This can be fixed using the performance mode which moves the Enrich panel from the 'Image Editor' to the 'Compositor' itself. This is where the compositing process is much faster and does not slow down the interface.
Performance mode also enables an option called 'Buffer groups' in Blender which reduces the compositing time at the expense of more memory.
To enable the Performance mode:
Open Enrich addon preferences in the 'Preferences' of Blender.
Enable the checkbox next to the 'Performance Mode'.
