Enrich addon

Notes

NOTE: This video is only if you have custom presets installed on Enrich 1.1 and want to import it to Enrich 2.0.
If you don't have any custom presets, proceed with this video.

Upgrading from Enrich addon 1.1 to Enrich addon 2.0 involves a few steps. This is to ensure that you correctly import any custom presets that you had in the prior version to the new version of Enrich.

Before installing Enrich 2, start by opening Blender 2.79 or lower with Enrich 1.1 addon enabled and follow these steps:

  • Open the Enrich 1.1 preferences in 'User preferences' of Blender.

  • Click on 'Export Presets' button and choose a directory to save the exported presets .zip file

Now that the presets are exported from Enrich 1.1, we can install Enrich 2.0 on Blender 2.81.

  • Open 'Preferences' in Blender 2.8 and go to the 'Add-ons' tab.

  • Click on the 'Install' button to install a new addon.

  • Select the Enrich add-on 2.0 zip file, which you should have received after the download.
NOTE: Make sure that the zip file is not extracted.

  • Click on the 'Install Add-on' button to install the Enrich add-on.

  • Active Enrich by checking the checkbox near its name.

  • Open the preferences of the Enrich and click on 'Import presets'.

  • Select the backup .zip file which was exported from Enrich 1.1

  • Click on 'Import Presets'

Now the custom presets should be imported successfully and you can start using Enrich 2.0
